Watch: 6-Masi Shiva Temple Deobaloda Charoda Bhilai

Deobloda or Deobloda Choroda is located 18 km from Chhatisgarh's capital city Raipur. It is located about 3 km from the city of Bhilai in Durg district. Here is a very ancient temple of Lord Shiva named "6-Masi Shiv Temple" which is considered as the 7th century. It is a very beautiful temple and there is a pond near it. The myth is that this pond is connected to an underground tunnel from another old town Arang of Chhattisgarh state.

This temple was constructed by a sculptor on a night of 6 months he worked naked. His wife used to bring food for him in the night. Once her sister came with food, the sculptor jumped into the trunk because he was naked and he went to Arang City via the tunnel. Here, her sister felt that because of her brother's death, she jumped into a  pond located near temple and gave her life, where is still her statue.
