The history of Shaheed Smarak Bhavan is very old. This building is city's heartland identity. This building has been shaped very differently. 1. Shaheed Smarak Bhawan in the special identity of Raipur has been established in GE Road. This building has an emotional attachment to the descendants of freedom fighters.

3. The name of the people martyred in the zonal memorial building is mentioned. On the marble names of 700 freedom fighters have been written. Apart from this, the name of the people martyred during the revolution of 1857 is also written here.

4. There was a plan to build a large library near the Memorial Building, but later the library was shifted to the building. Where people still come and study in the library.

5. The name of the 5 people in the construction of this building is highest. The construction committee comprised Kamal Narayan Sharma, Hari Thakur, Narayan Rao Ambilkar, Narayan Das Rathore, Motilal Tripathi, Dhaniram Verma. This building is currently subordinate to the corporation. The corporation keeps account of its income-expenditure.
