Hamar Chhattisgarh: Dudhadhari Math, where Shri Ram baths with milk
Dudhadhari temple is located near Burha Talab at Raipur Mathpara in the state of Chhattisgarh. Mahant Shri The temple was established by Balbhadra Dasji during his stay in Raipur.
When it comes to the history of Dudhadhari Temple, there is still no proper evidence of its construction’s date. However, it is believed that the temple was constructed by King Jait singh during the 17th century.
In many places it was considered to be made by Raghurao Bhosale for the procurement of milk in 1810 to Mahant Balabhadra Das. The monastery has its own ancient history. There are temples of several deities in this monastery. Among them are Balaji Mandir, Crisis Mukchan Hanuman Mandir, Rampanchayatan and Veer Hanuman Mandir. In this temple related to the Vaishnava sect, the artifact of Ramayana has been done in attractive manner. Maratha painting is still present in the temple.
The ancient temple has not only religious importance but also the architecture importance. The stunning murals and intricate carvings of the temple attract many visitors. As per a folklore, Lord Ram had stayed at this place during his exile period.
Balbhadra Das Mahant Hanuman, the founder of the capital's nearly 500-year-old milk-rich monastery, was a devotee and one day he suddenly became distraught. His disciples saw him strolling in the mornings. When they did not get anywhere, it was assumed that they took samadhi. After this his mausoleum was constructed and all the decisions are still there.

By Road: The place is well connected by road. Buses, taxis and cabs are easily available across the state to reach Dudhadhari Math.
