Babri Case: A Lot Of Evidence Against Advani, Joshi and Uma In The Charge of Conspiracy- Court


The Special Court of CBI has fixed the charges of criminal conspiracy against six BJP leaders, including Lal Krishna Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and Uma Bharti, in the case of disrupting the disputed structure in Ayodhya. The court said that there was considerable evidence for all of them to decide on the charges of criminal conspiracy. Earlier, the court gave 12 charges of this case to the bail of 50-50 thousand rupees on private money. After this, an appeal was made to acquit him, which the court rejected.

What is the whole matter?
  • On December 6, 1992, two cases were registered in Babri case. One case was registered on the charge of demolishing the structure against the car servants. It was heard in Lucknow.
  • The second case was against the BJP leaders including LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi and Uma Bharati present on the forum. They were accused of conspiring to destroy the structure. The hearing was held in Rae Bareli Court.

SC access case
  • The CBI Special Court had acquitted Advani, Joshi, Uma, Bal Thackeray and others in May 2001 by refuting the technical ground.
  • The CBI reached the Allahabad High Court against this, but he also upheld the decision.
  • After this, the CBI had filed a petition in the Supreme Court. On this, the Supreme Court had ordered the conspiracy case against 13 BJP leaders.
